Mijas is a town and municipality on the Costa del Sol in the province of Málaga, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. It is known for its beaches, traditional white-washed houses, and picturesque streets. The tourist information center in Mijas provides visitors with information about local attractions, events, accommodations, and transportation. They can help visitors plan their stay and provide brochures, maps, and other materials to help them make the most of their visit. The information centre sit on a huge multi story carpark that costs 1 euro for the day.

La Iglesia de la inmaculada Concepcion

The church is situated 5 minutes walk from the Plaza de la Constitucion. It was built in the 16th century and is the biggest church in Mijas. Ethnological Museum

The museum is situated 2 minutes walk from the Plaza de la, Constitucion This great little museum cost 1 euro (2017) to get in and shows a great insight into the the world of the decendents of the area. Getting around the Costa del Sol

Mijas is not on the Malaga Fuengirola trainline. Saying that, Mijas is only a short bus ride from Fuengirola train station.
