Information on Puerto Benalmadena
The impressive Puerto Benalmádena, an architectural marvel completed in 1982, quickly gained international recognition, receiving the title of “Best Port in the World” in 1987.
Situated on the Costa del Sol, this Blue Flag marina is one of the most popular attractions in the region, known for its striking Moorish-inspired design and vibrant atmosphere.
With over 1,100 berths, the marina is a hub for maritime activity, offering boat trips, fishing excursions, and dolphin-watching tours. A ferry service also connects the marina with Málaga and Fuengirola.
At the upper levels, you’ll find a range of restaurants and cafés with excellent views over the marina, making it a popular spot for dining

Getting around the Costa del Sol
Benalmádena is well connected for getting around the Costa del Sol. The nearest train station is Benalmádena–Arroyo de la Miel, with regular services along the coast. Local buses also run frequently, with stops close to the marina. At Puerto Marina Benalmádena there is paid parking available, while free parking can often be found around Parque de la Paloma, a short walk away.
