Information on  Torreblanca

Directions only

Torreblanca is indeed a distinct resort from Fuengirola, despite some holiday companies advertising it as Fuengirola. It offers a quieter and more family-oriented atmosphere with some great bars and restaurants but not as many as you'd find in Fuengirola. Here's a breakdown of what you can expect in Torreblanca:

  1. Nightlife: Torreblanca doesn't have nightclubs and the bars typically do not play loud music. This makes it an excellent choice for those who prefer a more tranquil and relaxed evening.
  2. Beaches: The beaches in Torreblanca are of high quality, often flying the Blue Flag, indicating their cleanliness and amenities. You can rent parasols and sunbeds, some even offering bar service.
  3. Accessibility: Torreblanca is conveniently located on the Malaga-Fuengirola train line, with stops at Malaga Airport. The train ride from the airport to Torreblanca is affordable and takes about 30 minutes. This makes it easy to explore other resorts on the same train line.
  4. Accommodation: Some popular hotels in Torreblanca include the Globales Gardenia Hotel, Hotel Monarque Fuengirola, and Monarque Torreblanca. Monarque Torreblanca is particularly convenient, being located next to the train station, while Gardenia and Fuengirola are within a 5-minute walk from the station.

Torreblanca offers a more peaceful and family-friendly environment compared to the livelier scene in Fuengirola. It's an ideal destination for those seeking a sun-soaked vacation without the crowds and loud nightlife.
