Information on Fuengirola Markets

Fuengirola market stands out as one of the most extensive and outstanding markets along the Costa del Sol, making it a must-visit destination for market enthusiasts. You can experience the vibrant market atmosphere every Tuesday and Saturday, situated at the fairground between Fuengirola and Los Boliches, provided there's no ongoing fair in town.

The market typically kicks off its bustling operations around 8:30 to 9:00 am and carries on until approximately 3:00 pm. It's worth noting that the two market days offer distinct experiences.

On Tuesdays, you'll be greeted by a traditional Andalusian market, offering an array of goods, including clothing, leather items, souvenirs, fresh fruits, and vegetables. Meanwhile, Saturdays transform the market into a dynamic flea market, akin to a car boot sale, where you can browse through an array of pre-loved goods and unique finds.

Both market days enjoy an impressive turnout, with a mix of tourists and local residents exploring the treasure troves on display. The market offers an excellent opportunity to leisurely stroll through the stalls, perhaps uncovering that sought-after bargain.

Parking is available to the right of the fairground, but spaces tend to fill up quickly, especially during peak hours. If you're planning to use public transportation, consider hopping off at either Los Boliches or Fuengirola train stations, as both provide convenient access to the market. It's approximately a 10-minute walk from either station to the market, conveniently located halfway between them. So whether you're a seasoned market-goer or simply looking for an enjoyable day out, Fuengirola market has something to offer every visitor.
