El Torcal de Antequera is a nature reserve located in the Sierra del Torcal mountain range, near the city of Antequera in Andalusia, southern Spain. It is known for its unique and unusual karst landscapes, formed by the erosion of soft limestone rocks over millions of years. The reserve is home to a wide variety of plant and animal life, including many species of birds, reptiles, and mammals. Visitors to El Torcal can explore its trails and viewpoints, which offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The reserve also has an interpretive center where visitors can learn more about the geology and natural history of the area.
