The murals project in Estepona commenced in 2012, aimed at adding vibrancy to various neighborhoods throughout the city. These remarkable murals adorn the sides of apartment blocks, creating an impressive open-air art gallery. One such mural, "Fishing Day" by the talented Jose Fernandez, spans an astonishing five apartment blocks, showcasing the immense scale and ambition of this artistic endeavor.
The success of these murals has been resounding, prompting ongoing commissions to further enhance the city's visual appeal. Estepona is now adorned with a collection of truly stunning murals, making it a rewarding experience to embark on a town-wide mural tour.
However, it's important to note that these captivating artworks are dispersed throughout the town, so allocating a substantial portion of your day is advisable if you intend to explore them all. Orchidarium
This botanical garden is situated close to the town centre and spreads over 1,000 square meters. The gardens contain over 5,000 varieties of plants of which 1,300 are orchids from south America and south Asia all under one roof. The Marina
The marina at Estepona is a typical marina with around 440 berths and takes vessel up to 35 metres in length. It is situated west of the town centre. The Bullring
