There is a lot of Parking in Ronda and it is a moderately easy town to drive around. The parking places we have chosen consider driving skills, pay and free parking. We would not recommend street parking due to parking violations and fines. If you do then please check the rules for parking and read general rules to street parking below. All the parking places on this webpage are pinpointed with an interactive google map. These maps will direct you to the parking place and help you find the parking place if you get lost while exploring this amazing town using a smart phone. So save this page. Calle Marbella

The first parking place we have chosen is just outside the town centre. This is a great place to park if you are not a confident driver in Spain. It's on the A-6300 in between the Molino de Alarcon and the Calle Marbella. It's also the best way to enter Ronda through the main gates of this ancient town. It is free to park but check because rules can change. From this location it's a 15 minute walk to the historical centre of town. If you are navigating with a hand held device then click the red icon on the map for directions. If you are using sat nav then enter destination as Calle Marbella, Ronda. Don't forget you can use your handheld device to find the car park if have forgotten where it is when you have finished exploring this amazing town.

The second parking place we have chosen is a pay car park situated in the old part of Ronda. The car park is in the Plaza Duquesa de Percent. General rules to street parking on the Costa Del Sol

Parking on the Costa del Sol was mostly free a few years ago, but that has changed. Watch the video above. Free parking is still available in most towns, though it can be tricky to find. Many towns have free car parks, often near fairgrounds or bullrings, but availability isn’t guaranteed. If you receive a parking ticket, most machines accept payment, and prompt payment may offer a 20% discount. Rental car fines will follow you, regardless of where you live. Watch for key parking signs, but be aware that some rules are known only to locals. This guide was accurate as of 2024 but should be verified before parking. This website is not responsible for any violations.

White lines

Parking spaces either with white painted bays or white lines generally means free parking. But read the yellow zig zag rule.

Blue & green lines

Parking spaces either with blue or green painted bays or lines generally means it is paid parking with a time limit. There will be a pay meter near by again read the yellow zig zag rule.

Yellow zig zag lines

Parking spaces with a yellow zig zag line means that there is a restriction, there will be a sign to explain.  So find out the restriction before parking there. The yellow zig zag line can be on free or pay parking zones. But if you have parked there illegally you will get towed away.
