La Cala de Mijas is a great resort in a great location situated inbetween Marbella and Fuengirola both about 25 minute away. The M-220 bus route services both town stopping at La Cala de mijas on the way.
There are two main bus stops in La Cala de Mijas. The first from Fuengirola to La Cala de Mijas which continues on to Marbella situated under the A7 motorway bridge
The second is From Marbella which continues on to Fuengirola situated near to the tourist information centre
Popular bus routes from La Cala de Mijas
Marbella is the jewel in the crown of the Costa del Sol and a day trip here is a must. Getting to Marbella from La Cala de Mijas is easy, just one problem and that is the bus route of the bus operator’s website. It stops at Calahonda for some reason. Not to worry the bus does go to Marbella and the best place to get off for the attractions is the Edificio Berrocal and to get back Marbella central directions below. Both are close to the La Alameda and the Old town.

Fuengirola is an excellent choice for a day out from La Cala de Mijas. The bus stop is in the centre of the village and it's easy to get to. You pay on the bus . The best place to get off in Fuengirola is the main bus terminal in the centre of town. It's also the best place to catch the bus to get back to La Cala.
