The winters are cooler but still reaches the low 20’s but at night it can get cold with temperatures getting as low as 4c. It can get windy, and partly cloudy. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 8°C to 31°C and is rarely below 4°C or above 36°C.
The hot season lasts for 2.9 months, from 18 June to 15 September, with an average daily high temperature above 28°C. The hottest months of the year in Costa del Sol is July and August, with an average high of 30°C and low of 21°C.
The cool season lasts for 4.1 months, from 18 November to 20 March, with an average daily high temperature below 19°C. The coldest month of the year in Costa del Sol is January, with an average low of 8°C and high of 16°C.

Puerto Fuengirola Situated right at the heart of Fuengirola's sea front, the port is known for its diverse cafe's, bars and restaurants.
Plaza Chinorros is situated close to the Plaza de la Constitucion, if you want to eat where the Spanish eat then this is the place to come to.
The Plaza de la Constitucion is situated off Av. Condes De San Isidro and is very popular with the local's.
La Galeria
The Galeria is situated in between fish alley and the Plaza de la Constitucion. It's a foody paradise with lots of interesting dishes.
Fuengirola indoor Market
is situated in the centre of town opposite Fuengirola train station. great for fruit & vegetables
Fish Alley is located on and around Calle Moncayo. It is a vibrant area that is very popular place to eat for tourists and locals
The Market is on Tuesday and Saturday from 9:00 to 2:00pm and is held at the fairground inbetween Los Boliches and Fuengirola.
The beaches in Fuengirola are amongst the best on the Costa del Sol. The promenade stretches the whole resort.
Tourist information centre is situated in the centre of town, close to the Fuengirola train station. It's always worth a visit.

there is an underground car park under the plaza de la constitucion but there is a charge. It is cheaper to park at the castle and walk along the promenade or at the fairground.
