Malaga Fair is held every year normally starting on a Friday/Saturday before the 19th of  August and lasts for one week. The fair dates back to 1487 when the Catholic Kings re-conquered the city from eight centuries of rule by the Moorish Muslims. The day fair starts around 12:00 and is located all over Malaga's centre. A good place to start would be Plaza de la Constitución or Calle Marques De Larios The night fair is held at Cortijo de Torres 2023 dates 11th - 19th August 2023.





Ruta de la Tapas. This is a great bit of fun in Mijas. The event runs through all of July and August on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30pm until 23:30pm. There is a list of bars in Mijas that provide a tapas and a drink for 2 euro. If you want to try some of the Costa del Sols traditional food then have a go do follow the route.

Feria Virgin de la Cruz. Held in the streets and on the fairground at Benalmadena Pueblo It is always mid August every year and is in ais of the village patron saint Virgin de la cruz. The event centre's around the Plaza de Espana and in the evening the fairground on Calle San Miguel.. 2022 dates to be confirmed

Feria de Pedro Romero: starts around the first week in September in Ronda and lasts for one week. The main event is a procession of horse drawn carriages through the streets of Ronda with everyone dressed in 18th century costumes followed by a bullfight at the Maestranza bullring. This takes place on the first Saturday of the fair. The event brings in crowds from around the world making it difficult to get accommodation in Ronda around this time. This is a fantastic time to be in Ronda the fair also plays folklore music, flamenco singing & dancing sports competitions and the Goyesque Ladies.
