Christmas light switch on: All over the Costa del sol crowds gather for the annual Christmas light swith on's in all of the towns. The biggest being in Malaga and Marbella. The lights are switched on towards the end of November and the beginning of December. Then repeat there performances daily until they are switched off for the year most on the 6th January.

Christmas Markets: Around November and December Christmas Market start opening all over the Costa del Sol. Selling Christmas decorations, toys, sweets, cheeses and wines. Some of the markets are quite small as in Fuengirola and much larger markets as in Malaga. The one thing they all have in common especially in the evening is that Christmas feeling. They are all worth going to for that alone.

Fiesta del Conejo in Parauta is in honor of the rabbit. In the past Parauta has relied on rabbit to feed it's population and formed part of there diet. The festival is held on the second or third Saturday of November every year and includes traditional dancing and music together. Rabbit is on the menu so get your free portion of rabbit casserole. The festival starts at midday.
