Mijas bus stop is just that. It does not have many destinations and payment is made to the bus driver. For further a field its best to check Malaga, Fuengirola and Marbella bus stations. See below for directions.
How to use the by bus pages to get around
I have tried to make this guide as easy as possible, the bus stops used are the best for most attractions. It’s worth Watching the video above and use the same principle for all the routes below. Example, Mijas is another village that has no bus station
like Benalmadena and Torremolinos so you will pay the bus driver. The bus stop where you get off is where you get on.

Fuengirola is an excellent choice for a day out from Mijas. Fuengirola has its own bus station so from here you can travel around the Costa del Sol. The station is in the centre of the town and its easy to get to.
