If you do get a parking ticket it can be paid at most ticket machines and you may get a 20% discount for prompt payment. If you are driving a hire car and get a ticket it will catch up with you which ever country you live in. Most towns have a free car park but finding them is not easy. The guide was correct at the time of publishing 2022 and is periodically checked so make sure it is still free if you park there, this website will not be held responsible for any parking violation's.
